It might seem boring to talk about at first, but I have to mention how I even got to Port Elizabeth.
Disclaimer: This is actually my first time traveling abroad, ever. So far, it's been a good trip, so I have high hopes for future international travels.
Anyway, I left from Chicago on Thursday, on a flight headed to Heathrow, but I didn't get to South Africa until Saturday. I ended up having about a 12 hour long layover in London, which was partly (who am I kidding, it was completely) of my own making. Like I said, I've never been abroad, and the two places that I've wanted to visit for years now have been Ireland and England. I didn't make it to Ireland, unfortunately, but I finally got to visit England! The visit was waaaaay too short, but I will take what I can get. I only got to see a couple of touristy places, but they were the ones that I most wanted to see, so that was fine.
